Welcome to the Amazing Frozen World Croatia!
During winter, Plitvice Lakes National Park becomes a frozen world. It is located in Croatia and consists of 16 lakes arranged in cascades. All of the lakes are interconnected and follow the water flow. The national park has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The lakes are one of the favorite destinations in Croatia due to their beauty. Meanwhile, the forest is home to bears, wolves, and many rare species of birds.
When winter came, a Hungarian photographer, Rizsavi Tamas, captured those beautiful snowy lakes. The weather is cold enough to freeze the lake and its surroundings. These photos remind us of one of the famous Disney movies, Frozen.
If you have time to visit Croatia during winter, then don’t forget to stop by at Plitvice Lakes National Park.
